Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced that she is canceling a number of state contracts for goods and services that will save Connecticut taxpayers more than $21.3 million for the fiscal year that ends June 30.
The Rell administration is now projecting a state deficit of $921.7 million, based on plunging state revenues..."It is grim and it is getting grimmer," Rell said.
